Le 5 d\u00e9cembre 1989<\/strong>, la France lance l’op\u00e9ration Oside \u00e0 la demande du pr\u00e9sident par int\u00e9rim, Sa\u00efd Mohamed Djohar<\/a>, pour assurer le maintien de l’ordre apr\u00e8s l’assassinat de son pr\u00e9sident, Ahmed Abdallah.
Les parachutistes fran\u00e7ais du 2\u00b0 RPIMa sont envoy\u00e9s \u00e0 Moroni.
Le b\u00e2timent de commandement ravitailleur \u00ab\u00a0Marne\u00a0\u00bb A630, de la Marine Nationale, comportant l\u2019\u00c9tat-Major g\u00e9rant cette op\u00e9ration, se trouvait au mouillage face aux Comores. L\u2019amiral Bonnot<\/a>, commandant les Forces maritimes de la zone Oc\u00e9an indien (ALINDIEN) supervisait l’emploi des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de la Marine nationale (navires, logistiques, commandos marine\u2026).
